    Cellular and mitochondrial respiration and bioenergetics

    Cellular and mitochondrial respiration are assessed with the Agilent Seahorse XF Pro. In a 96-well plate format, real-time measurements of cellular respiration, oxidative phosphorylation, mitochondrial leak, and mitochondrial transport are assessed as functional kinetic measurements of cellular bioenergetics. An integrated Agilent BioTek Cytation5 imager correlates cell number to respiration for more accurate normalization of respiration.

    Chemical Metabolism Core

    Previously called the Islet, Oxygen consumption, Mass Isotopomer flux Core (IOMIC), the Chemical Metabolism Core offers targeted and untargeted metabolomics, stable isotope based metabolic flux analysis, quantitative metabolic panels of central carbon metabolism and adjacent pathways, measurements of cellular bioenergetics,  islet isolation and functional studies.
