About the core
The Biophysical Resource is a core operated by Keck Foundation Biotechnology Resource Laboratory at Yale University. We currently have resources to study the oligomeric state of biomolecular assemblies as well as the thermodynamics and kinetics of macromolecular interactions using:
- Multiangle laser light scattering detector and dynamic light scattering detector
(MALLS and DLS) - Dynamic light scattering detector (DLS)
- Isothermal microcalorimetry (ITC)
- Surface plasmon resonance - BiaCore biosensor (SPR)
- Nanoparticle tracking analysis (NTA)
- Spectrofluorometer: PTI-QuantaMaster
- Asymmetric flow field-flow fractionation
- Fluorescence plate reader
- CD - spectrophotometer
