BD Symphony S6 cell sorter
Sort into 5 mL round tubes, 15 mL conical tubes, or plates (24-, 48-, and 96-well) with 5 lasers (UV, violet, blue, yellow/green, red) and 23 detectors (6 UV, 6 violet, 4 blue, 4 yellow/green, 3 red).

Sort requests can be scheduled via PPMS. You must have a valid account and CoA on file to request a sort. Depending on the cell type being investigated, there are a variety of procedures for preparing cells.

Chemical Metabolism Core
Previously called the Islet, Oxygen consumption, Mass Isotopomer flux Core (IOMIC), the Chemical Metabolism Core offers targeted and untargeted metabolomics, stable isotope-based metabolic flux analysis, quantitative metabolic panels of central carbon metabolism and adjacent pathways, measurements of cellular bioenergetics, islet isolation and functional studies. Services include study assistance and data analysis.

The chemical vapor deposition (CVD) tools can deposit metal, oxide, and nitride thin films. The cleanroom offers various CVD tools, including plasma-enhanced CVD and atomic layer deposition.
