About the core

Located on West Campus, the Yale Center for Genome Analysis (YCGA) is a state-of-the-art open-access DNA sequencing center that provides a centralized facility for services, equipment, and expertise required for carrying out large-scale sequence analysis studies. We offer RNA expression profiling, DNA genotyping, and high-throughput sequencing services. The resource is open to Yale researchers, other non-profits, and for-profit organizations. YCGA is a CLIA/CAP-certified facility for sequencing clinical samples.

The Center provides comprehensive next-generation sequencing (NGS) and microarray analysis services, offering both short- and long-read sequencing to support a wide range of research applications. Our capabilities include advanced single-cell and spatial omics platforms for transcriptomics and multi-omics profiling, backed by end-to-end bioinformatics support from experimental design through data analysis and publication-ready results. In addition, we collaborate with YCC investigators on R&D to develop emerging technologies not yet available as standard services, and we offer expert consultation to help refine study design and select the best-fit technologies.
