Data return information
Cutoff time for Friday processing is 3PM for Sanger sequencing and 4PM for all other services.
Standard turnaround time for sequencing services is 1 business day. CLA turnaround time is 5 business days. Yale users will receive priority over non-Yale users.
We return data through Box.com. Once you create an account with us, we will create a folder where data will be returned.
Freeware
You will need appropriate software to view .ab1 sequencing files or .fsa fragment analysis files. We provide a list of options below that are free of charge.
We highly recommend Thermo Fisher Connect and its multitude of apps as a resource. Their service is web-based & does not require a download. Users receive 1TB of free storage, where projects can easily be saved and shared among groups.
Fragment analysis software
If you are local, you may come to our facility and use our GeneMarker/GeneMapper software. We are located at 300 George Street, 2nd floor, room 2127, New Haven, CT, 06511.
