High-pressure NMR tubes
About the instrument
These custom-built NMR tubes and accompanying high-pressure gas manifold are designed to pressurize samples up to 500 PSI. The tubes are built from PEEK polymer and are compatible with a range of different solvents. If no corrosive reagents or incompatible solvents are present, PEEK NMR tubes are optimal for observing intermediates and quantifying the kinetics of high-pressure reactions. At this stage, it is not possible to add reagents at high pressure.
Used for work with spectrometers in the CBIC.
