Tucked into the basement of the Hope Building at the corner of Congress Avenue and Cedar Street is a warren of well-lit rooms filled with milling machines, table saws, welders and lathes. The Yale School of Medicine Electronic & Machine Shop has catered to medical school researchers for more than three decades, building prototype devices for use in experiments.

Rates
The machine shop provides expert machinist for metal and plastic machining and fabrication services. Contact us for more information or to schedule an appointment for a consultation. Please note our standard lead time is three weeks and anything needed sooner will be charged at the emergency rate.
