About the instrument
The LaVision Biotec TriMScope (Miltenyi Biotec) is an upright, laser scanning, multiphoton microscope with a dual output Coherent Discovery laser (tunable output, 680–1300 nm; fixed output, 1040 nm).
Multiple water immersion, long-working distance objectives (20x, 25x and 40x) are available for imaging both fixed and live specimens.
Currently, fluorescent emission from three colors (Red, Green, Blue) can be detected simultaneously from a sample utilizing non-descanned photomultiplier tubes (PMTs).
