About the core

Our mission is to provide insight into biological mechanisms and disease targets. We provide expertise in compound and siRNA screening and high-content imaging.

Your Research + YCMD Resources = New Molecules and Biological Insight

The math is simple. Combining your innovative research with YCMD’s resources can jumpstart a new line of inquiry to provide novel tools and biological understanding. Partner with our experienced staff members to find molecules and genes that modify your biology of interest, or investigate in high-throughput format how existing molecules and genetic probes affect the biology. The Center’s resources include small molecule and siRNA collections, sophisticated infrastructure for high-throughput assay design and screening in microplate format, a high-speed fluorescent microscope, and a variety of instrumentation to meet your liquid handling needs.
