FEI Tecnai Biotwin (LaB6, 80 kV)
This Lab6 emission 80 kV microscope is optimized for examining biological specimens with either plastic or cryo sections as well as routine negative stained samples. It is equipped with an SIS Morada 11 megapixel CCD camera. The setup provides quick viewing on a large area and digital imaging of good quality and contrast.
FEI Tecnai G2 Spirit Twin (T12) (LaB6, 120 kV)
The LaB6 emission, 120 kV microscope can be operated at both room temperature and cryo modes. It is suitable for applications such as sample screening in negative staining, particle recognition and analysis in material, and cryo EM imaging. It is equipped with a Gatan and has an UltraScan 4000 (4Kx4K) CCD camera and a TV camera.
FEI Tecnai TF20
This 200 kV field-emission gun, X-Twin-lens-equipped microscope is fitted with an FEI Eagle CCD camera (4Kx4K) and an AMT NanoSprint 1200 CMOS camera. Two tomography holders (single-tilt and dual-tilt) are available. This microscope is mainly used for electron tomography image acquisition from resin-embedded samples and negative-stained samples.
