Cell sorting: Aria TAC A
This special order BD FACSAriaII is a 19-parameter, 5-laser system that includes:
- 24 mW 355nm UV laser with 2 PMTs
- 200 mW 405 nm violet laser with 4 PMTs
- 100 mW 488 nm blue laser with 4 PMTs, with two of them dedicated to fluorescence
- 150 mW 532 nm green laser with 5 PMTs
- 140 mW 637 nm red laser with 3 PMTs .
This sorter is equipped with PMT for enhanced detection of the forward scatter.
FACSAria II is capable of sorting with 70-, 85-, and 100-micron nozzles.
TAC Aria-A will NOT sort:
- Any microbial samples
- Cells derived from the gut with high bacterial content (intestine, pelvic lavage, ...)
- Skin cells
Cells from the esophagus and upper lung
