Sample drop-off locations

List of sample drop-off locations around Yale University.

You may drop your samples off directly to our lab at 300 George Street, room 2127. The dropoff area is available 24/7, but the lab is only open during office hours (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). 

If visiting after office hours, please leave your samples in the bucket on the counter inside the doorway of 2127. DNA samples will be stable at at room temperature.

Sample Submission

Standard turnaround time is 1 business day*. (*CLA turnaround time is 5 business days.) Yale users will receive priority over non-Yale users. If your samples are RUSH samples, please make us aware of this before we receive your submission.

Drop-off locations on campus

We have several sample drop-off locations on campus. Our courier service picks up from every location twice daily, 9:30 AM & 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted.

Medical School

  • outside of TAC-S340 (across from TAC-S330) in the glassware cabinet, second shelf

Science Hill

  • Bass 207
  • OML114 Wednesdays @ 9:30 AM
