Contact us to discuss your necropsy needs before starting a project or submitting samples. Research necropsies are performed during normal business hours, unless extenuating circumstances have occurred. A valid COA or other charging instructions must be on file before your samples can be accepted.
Clinical pathology: Additional tests can be requested at the time of necropsy. For virology or PCR diagnostic testing, contact Sue Compton in the Department of Comparative Medicine Molecular and Serological Diagnostics Laboratory. Serum chemistry, complete blood count and urinalysis or bacteriology not offered through our Microbiology service are available through an outside company, Antech Diagnostics (1-800-872-1001). These samples may be submitted directly by the investigator or submitted through our service and billed to the investigator.
A valid COA or other charging instructions must be on file before your samples can be accepted.
For external customers, gross necropsy and histopathologic evaluation or clinical pathology interpretation, please contact Carmen Booth.
