Abberior MIRAVA Polyscope

About the instrument

The Abberior MIRAVA Polyscope with 3D STED + 2D MINFLUX is a state-of-the-art super-resolution confocal microscope that can achieve 25 nm XY resolution in 2D STED; 80 nm XY and Z resolution in 3D STED, and 5 nm XY resolution in 2D MINFLUX.

Key features include:

  • Four imaging lasers: 405, 485, 561, and 640 nm
  • Two STED lasers: 775 nm (ultra-high power) and 589 nm (high power)
  • Two APD-based spectral detectors and two MATRIX detectors (APD arrays)
  • EASY 3D: Adaptive optics for STED beams based on SLM technology
  • RAYSHAPE: Adaptive optics system for all beams (excitation, emission, and depletion)
  • TIMEBOW for fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM)
  • FLEXPOSURE: Adaptive illumination package for highest resolution and live-cell super-resolution imaging at ultra-low light levels (RESCue, DyMIN, MINFIELD)
  • Stage-top incubator for live-cell imaging
