Any of the latinized names that have been applied to the taxon lot. AuthorName. The author and/or date of publication for an applied taxon name. HigherRanks. The family, order, and/or class of the most recently applied taxon name. Locality. A composite of the country, state (equivalent), county (or equivalent), place, and latitude & longitude, as available. Latitude & longitude are ordinarily given to the nearest minute. CollectorDate. The name of the collector(s) and the collection date(s). CommonName. Common name of the most recently applied taxon name, largely following "Fishes of the World" (Nelson, 1984, 1996). OtherAttributes Other specimen attributes that are specific to the holdings of the Ornithology collection.
