CatalogNumber. In the Entomology collection, specimens are catalogued with a one to seven digit number (e.g., YPM 10219), occasionally followed by an upper case letter (e.g., YPM 10219A). TaxonName. Any of the latinized names that have been applied to the taxon lot. AuthorName. The author and/or date of publication for an applied taxon name. HigherRanks. The family, order, and/or class of the most recently applied taxon name. Locality. A composite of the country, state (equivalent), county (or equivalent), place, and latitude & longitude, as available. Latitude & longitude are ordinarily given to the nearest minute. CollectorDate. The name of the collector(s) and the collection date(s). OtherAttributes Other specimen attributes that are specific to the holdings of the Entomology collection.
