"Sharing the Story: Community As Curator" Panel Discussion

In September, 2005, NHOHP Director Andy Horowitz joined Peter Lamothe, Director of the New Haven Colony Historical Society, Joe Ferrucci, Assistant Professor and the University of Kentucky, and Dan Diaz, co-founder of Arte Inc. on a panel presentation at the American Association for State and Local History’s annual conference. They discussed their experiences working with community groups to interpret and exhibit local history in New Haven, Connecticut. More information can be found here.

Because of the success of AASLH panel, we have been invited to present our model at the American Association of Museum’s centenial meeting in April, 2006.
