Chris Riley is a 3L at Yale Law School and a student fellow with the Information Society Project. He has a Ph.D. in computer science from Johns Hopkins University, where he researched the theory of network communications. During law school, he has worked at the Electronic Frontier Foundation in San Francisco, California and at Ropes & Gray in Boston, Massachusetts. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Yale Journal of Law & Technology for 2006-2007. His first law article, titled 'The Need for Software Innovation Policy', is being published in the Spring 2007 volume of Colorado's Journal of Telecommunications and High Technology Law. His second paper, on the effects of cognitive framing on the litigation process in technology law, is in progress.
