BioImage Suite: fMRI and multi-subject statistical Analysis Tools

The presentation from BioImage Suite Software talks has now been uploaded on the forum.

03/09/06  -  Dr. Nallakkandi Rajeevan        :  BioImage Suite: fMRI and multi-subject statistical Analysis Tools

BioImage Suite -- www.bioimagesuite.org was developed as a result of  the needs of different projects in structural  and functional neuroimaging, cardiac image analysis, image guided therapy projects for both epilepsy neurosurgery and prostate radiotherapy, abdominal fat quantification, targeted imaging of angiogenesis and diffusion tensor imaging.

BioImage Suite is a collection of programs using the same underlying software architecture and components. It runs on multiple platforms (e.g. Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Solaris) and it also includes state-of-the-art visualization capabilities such as the ability to display both individual images and anatomical/functional image overlays in orthogonal sections, oblique slices and volume rendering.  It is in wide use in the Yale Image Analysis and Processing Group, the Yale Magnetic Resonance Research Center and the laboratories of close collaborators at Yale. While the software development has focused on the analysis of human images, it has also been applied to mouse CT and MRI images.

This presentation is way out of date -- take a look at the new fMRI tool manual instead http://bioimagesuite.org/doc/node16.html. This tool is being significantly expanded in the upcoming 3.0 release.
