Continuing Education

For its graduates, Berkeley Divinity School offers a number of opportunities for continuing education, many of them in conjunction with Yale Divinity School. Among the most important are:
  • Convocation and Alumni Reunions. Convocation is held the second week of October each year, and includes several days of lectures, worship, and celebrations bring alumni together at Sterling Divinity Quadrangle. The Berkeley Divinity School Pitt or Cheney lecture is on Wednesday afternon, followed by Evensong together with the Conferral of Honorary Degrees, and the annual Graduate Society Banquet.
  • Summer Term. During the month of June, a series of one-week courses are offered at the school on topics ranging from preaching skills to the principles of organizational behavior, or from liturgical music to English spirituality.
  • Consortium of Endowed Episcopal Parishes. Berkeley regularly offers workshops and guest speakers at the annual meeting of the CEEP, held in late February or early March in various locations.
