I love working at the House because it sits at the center of the community, and so is the prime place for social, intellectual, and artistic exchange. I’ve never had the opportunity to get to know so many amazing, talented people – students, alumni, faculty and visitors alike – as I have within the walls of the House.

My name is Faith Briggs. I tend to be “from” wherever I happen to be, I’m a sophomore and I’m in the best college on campus, yes the lovely lovely Ezra Stiles. I am a double major in African American Studies and Film Studies.
I started out working at the house as a freshman ambassador during the fall of the 2006-2007 academic year. This year my work at the African American Cultural Center revolves around the arts and the Caribbean, two of my passions! I work at the house because I truly have input on the activities that we sponsor and I can find or create work that I am passionate about. I love people and at the House I meet a wide range of students, both undergrads and grads, as well as alumni. I work with a great staff! At this point I wouldn’t think of doing anything else.
