Chris Lapinig
christopher.lapinig@yale.edu
Head Coordinator
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Chris is a New Yorker at heart butbears no audible accent besides a tinge of a lisp. He enjoys The FoodNetwork, foreign languages, and bidets in his spare time. He attendedStuyvesant High School, but he has eschewed his math and sciencebackground to pursue his college education in Linguistics and Ethnicity,Race & Migration. He first worked at the AACC during his sophomore yearas the Asian American Studies Coordinator, and he has not left the AACCever since, camping out at the Center for KASAMA and AASA activities.*Shoot Chris an e-mail if you'd like to reserve the AACC for groupactivities. Or if you'd just like to get some Tasti-D with him.
* In true Head Coordinator spirit, Chris would like to note that it isagainst House Rules to sleep overnight at the AACC, as tempting as itmight sound.

Pamela Shen
pamela.shen@yale.edu
Special Events Co-Coordinator
Pam hails from Miami, Florida but please donÕt cut her out with your scissors and paste her into a Sisqo ÒThong SongÓ music video; she didnÕt pass by bikini-clad women on South Beach on the way to school. In addition to working at the AACC she works at the Yale Daily News and enjoys volunteering. Dou jiang (Chinese soy milk) makes her world go round .

Julie Yang hails from Arlington, TX (Agtown) which is smack dab in the middle of Dallas (D-town) and Fort Worth (Funkytown). She is a Special Events Co-coordinator with Pamela Shen, and they're pouring their hearts and their grades into these events, so it must be worth it to check these out!
She loves the Sabbath, which is all about taking it easy. She particularly enjoys soaking up the sun on a lazy afternoon.

Avanti Verma
avanti.verma@yale.edu
Alumni Outreach Co-Coordinatorr
Avanti is from Colts Neck, New Jersey-a quaint little town close to the shore. She loves to dance (with a bent towards the Indian classical style), but most people don’t know that she also loves to play classical piano. She is a Literature major in Berkeley who happens to be the ONLY junior on the AACC staff this year, a prime reason to show her some extra love.

Leang Chaing
leang.chaing@yale.edu
Freshman Liaison
Leang Chaing is a freshman in Davenport, the irrefutably best college on campus (well in his humble opinion). He hails from Bridgeport, Connecticut, a city only 30 minutes away by car (so close that his parents ask every weekend if they could pick him up to go home). He likes all things cheesyÑcrackers, snacks, and movies. In his spare time he used to watch Food Network religiously until he came to Yale only to be extremely disappointed that he had to pay an extra $60.00 a month to continue his addiction. His lucky charm is a little jade dragon he purchased in China named Chongqing who can fly and turn puppies into rainbows. He has a weird sense of humor. He loves the freshman class: Oh Dime, One Oh, Ten, Oh Ten, whatever you call them, and hopes to have a great year!

Timothy Kau
timothy.kau@yale.edu
Webmaster
Tim is a sophomore in Berkeley College and is happily undecided in his course of study. He is a New Yorker born and raised, and oft misses the "24 hourness" of NYC, especially when being ripped off at Durfee's at 2am. He runs the website you're looking at right (gotcha!), though is currently redesigning it, so please send any comments, suggestions, complaints, and / or monetary gifts his ways. He detests talking in the 3rd person.
